BRENDA DICKSON'S WELCOME TO MY HOME

Make-up artiste extraordinaire Kabuki Starshine sent me these insane clips of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS'S Brenda Dickson. Yeah, I'd never heard of her either. But her two-part instructional video is a lesson in high-80's sickness with plenty of costume changes and Brenda's chipper if vacant delivery.

WELCOME TO MY HOME PART 1

PART 2

Among her beauty secrets: "Sugar causes wrinkles."

I saw this via Jackie Beat's blog...truly one for the time capsule! Be sure to google her and see what she looks like now. FREAKY!

I remember her well from "Young and the Restless." She was the first Jill. One day, she simply said "I quit" and walked off the set, never to return. She has not been seen since, at least on TV.

"Whoo! That was exhausting!"

According to the gossips at DataLounge, Bill Bell, Y&R's co-creator, adored her and let her get away with murder. When her cunty behavior could no longer be tolerated, she finally got the axe.

Miss D says on her Web site that she's campaigning for a part on Desperate Housewives—I, for one, hope she gets it.

She'd be terrific as one of their mothers...they get the juiciest bits. However, it would be hard to out-cunt Carol Burnett on that show...it's the first time I've ever seen her in a part and loathed her on sight. Go, Carol! :-)

"Sprouts give you more energy than any other vegetable because they're still GROWING!"

"When I powder, I powder very, very good."

"These are bugle beads."

Allegedly, the gold-tinfoil gown was a costume from Y&R. "Fashion is something that is acquired," indeed. :)
