GRACE JONES AT STUDIO 54
Lip-synching an unrecognizable song (bad sound) Grace, sure knows how to work a flouncy, ruffle skirt. She doesn't keep the mic too close to her mouth, but she's having a blast. Literally, I'm sure. I think she's introduced by the ruling Studio 54 tranny Potassa, who I can't find any info on. Anyone got her tea?

that song is "Thats The Trouble " one of her first hit singles
I loved Potassa! She lived on 26th St. in the late 70's. We would go to Studio together. Right around the time she was on the cover of Interview. I remember she had a "cameo" in Joey Heatherton's Happy Hooker movie! Wonder if she is still with us?? Probably not.
Nice design of blog.

its all a bit late... (April 8, 2008)but... two Sundays ago we were walking onto Greenwich from Lips and thought we saw Potassa...
My friend Evan, who is ABSOLUTELY recognizable, and I stopped and looked back. Moments later she was crossing Greenwich in the opposite direction and did a double take, smiled, then waved at us as though she recognized us.
Well, if it wasn't her - at least we're still attractive to older trannies
