THEY ARE LYING AGAIN!

For any of you who like to sit back and trust the government,  you only have to go as far back as the Iraq war to prove that the president, secretary of state, Pentagon and media will readily lie to you to follow their own agenda. Even if that lie costs us tons of dead and injured American soldiers, possibly a million of dead/displaced Iraqis and we spent an unnecessary fortune doing it. If this weren't enough, our attacks on innocent people will create ill will towards us from around the world and generations of future terrorists to come. But the US government will lie, cheat and risk ANYTHING to make sure that their corporate campaign donors get their money's worth and craft policies which favor their profits while average Americans are forced to make choices between sending their kids to school and saving their homes. Or even affording their medications as many seniors can't.

Now the government and the media are conspiring to lie to us again on this fiscal cliff nonsense, which is a non-crisis. We just voted that we wanted to tax the rich and 60% of the country are in favor of this. Isn't that bi-partisan? So then why are both parties shying away from what we want and focusing on which social social safety nets need to be cut? Obama has a strong hand, but refuses to use it. So he and other democrats' approach to this grand bargain do not reflect the views of the hard-hit people who JUST reelected them.
