EASIEST DONATION EVER
After I was just bitching about drug companies!
As World AIDS Day approaches (Dec. 1), we are reminded that millions of people need our help with the AIDS pandemic, but we often think, "What can I do?"
Here is one simple way you can help, and it costs you nothing but a moment and a mouse click.
Bristol Myers Squibb will donate $1 for every person who goes to their web site and lights a candle to fight AIDS, up to a max of $100,000 (chump change for them, but we'll take it). At this point, the counter is just over 26,000... so we need many more candles lit.
Please go to this link to light a candle... and help spread the light.

Thank you, Bunny.
Why don't we all just donate the measly $1 ourselves & not pimp our pages out to Bristol F'in' Meyers?
thanks bunny! i posted the link on my blog, and sent out a bulletin on myspace and am posting it in a few other places and mailing it to friends :)
Shonda, are you really gonna write a check for a dollar? I mean, Bristol Myers has already commited to pay the $100,000 anyway. I don't mind playing their silly game to make sure they pay all of it. And I am just in (rare) benevolent holiday mode or is the website well-done and lighting the candle maybe a little fun? Ok, I'm corny simpleton at times! (At times?)--LB
Lots of people are playing the game, too...when I went there, they'd had over 51,000 visitors, and that was a few days ago!
Guess what folks? You can actually go to the site and still have money left over to make a donation directly to an AIDS organization of your choice. Go figure.
