Doris being the ugly stepsister cartoon voiced by CNN's Larry King. The Illinois Review accuses:
Right in the midst of a warm "traditional family" setting, the film writers place a man dressed as a woman in with Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White (the good gals). The crossdressing character simply doesn't make sense, except as a ploy to desensitize children and parents to transgenders.

How ridiculous. In the story she's an extremely ugly and masculine girl, NOT a tranny. Plus I've seen uglier and far butcher lesbians.
The plot details don't matter. it's like in the celluloid closet when they go back and spill the tea on all those old movies where you had to read between the lines to know that Roch Hudson was a fag or Doris Day was a lesbian or all that other good stuf in there
What are they going to do to us? Sweep us off into some incerators or something?
Dockyard Doris?
The Illinois Review--"the crossroads of the conservative community!"
More like the cross-EYED of the conservative community (oh wait--that's redundant, isn't it?).
