I remember seeing that when I was 10! She forgot the words in the middle of the song...

In retrospect, I kinda like it...she doesn't really have a traditional "ballad" voice, but she's very genuine and honest. Alas, I fear this song will be forever associated with Pat Boone's spawn...and a really awful movie.
She's real and I LOVE her. Cool cover.
I remember the host before Michael Smith--Bob-Something. He always sang the "Kids Are People Too" theme song at the beginning. But my favorite was the "Dear Alex and Annie" advice segment--the Alex was such a hottie!
