RUPAUL'S NEW MOVIE!
Ru is working on an independent movie which he'll release himself via his website when it's fully edited. The director, Mike Ruiz, shot Ru's fantastic recent videos of LOOKIN' GOOD, FEELIN' GORGEOUS and WORK OUT. It's untitled as yet, but it's subject matter tips it's hat to Pam Grier's blaxsploitation flicks of the 1970's, and Ru's own mid-eighties low-budget camp-fests from his Atlanta days in which I made some very unmemorable, drunken appearances. I make a cameo in this as well, as a lipstick lesbian named Tasha who hires Ru (who is undercover as a hooker named Cupcake) to eat me out. If you look closely, you can see the crab in my "pubic hair" and my own darker blonde hair sticking out the side of my wig! Whoops!
I interview Ru, my "drag mother", in the next issue of GENRE magazine. She really let her wig down so don't miss it! Some great Diana Ross tales!

I think I just creamed myself.
I'm confused. I thought that was a photo from the ad campaign announcing the new Medicare plan for seniors.

And J-O-E-Y, it fills my heart with joy to read the words Mercy Croft. Coral Browne, the "handsome" woman who played her, was Vincent Price's beard. And that scene where she quivers her lips in desire for the blonde is unforgettably twisted. I'm thrilled that you are familiar with this dyke classic. I wouldn't turn down the Beryl Reid role either!
As far as PEORIA BABYLON, I did play a lesbian ex-porn star who ran for office. Because they insisted that I tone down my make-up, I have never been able to force myself to watch PEORIA. But I did enjoy getting to smash 2 prop vases made from sugar over some guys head. --B
Bunioin should play Alice, Susanna York's character, given her innocent sexual quality. maybe Labsynca could play Mercy Croft since she slides into various matronly roles so easily.
