Obama's former chief of staff Rahm Emanuel supports the closing of 54 public schools, leaving 30,000 children goofed. I think we all agree that education is the key to the US regaining it's competitive edge as other nations pass us by. So who do you think is behind SCHOOL CLOSURES? Who benefits from this? Not the middle class or poor. Most of our politicians support support the 1%--at least Romney admitted that he did. We're actually dreaming that Obama still might do something for us. Time to wake up from that nightmare. CHICAGO (Reuters) - Thousands of demonstrators rallied in downtown Chicago on Wednesday to protest the city's plan to close 54 public schools, primarily in Hispanic and African-American neighborhoods.
