REVERSE ROBIN HOOD

Like the other self-manufactured crises, Congress is about to hit another deadline in March which "forces" them to whittle down social security, medicare, medicaid, etc. What it won't force them to discuss is the fact that we might not need to cut anything if many huge corporations were made to pay their fair share of taxes. And why won't they discuss it? Because no one in office, from the president on down, is able to get elected without campaign contributions from these huge corporations. So again, the poorest among us are asked to make sacrifices in a recession so that corporations can continue to make record profits.
