The "puppet masters" pulling the strings in Washington are not all on Wall Street. Some of the biggest are to be found in the neighborhood of the Pentagon.

Tell Secretary of "Defense" Leon Panetta to stop doing the bidding of corporations.



An Obama appointee, Secretary Panetta is protecting powerful military contractors by obstructing the public demand for serious cuts in military spending, which has doubled in the last decade.

Some people are more equal than others in our money-corrupted system, and some of the most powerful "corporate persons" buying our elections go by names like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BAE, and whatever Blackwater calls itself this week.

When these corporations' rights were much more restricted, Eisenhower called them the Military Industrial Complex. We can now call them corporate persons on steroids.

And Secretary Panetta is their protector, in the face of demands to transfer war spending to civilian needs.
