Love the history and the gowns, but damn girl was flat--and I'm not talking about her boobs.

If anyone is interested theres a fantastic book called 'Drags to Riches' and its Danny's story of how he ran one of the most successful clubs in London, had his own show which ran for years in the West End and literally made millions by being a drag queen. Its just such a pity he didn't come out until much later in his career. In the book he talks about having a love affair with a woman wanting to get married but she died in a plane crash, its ridiculous. He could have done what Quentin Crisp did for gay people in the UK but with better dresses, but you can't do everything can you. Theres also some great DVD's of his shows always on sale on ebay.

Bunny! Try and get a copy of Danny's film called 'Our Miss Fred' where he has to go undercover as a woman during WWII in occupied France! It's divine! He even has to take part in a Nazi fashion show!

You can still get the dvd of 'Our Miss Fred from the UK on ebay. He sings a song to the Nazi guards dressed as Marlene Dietrich, about Hitler only having one ball, and theres a ridiculously funny fashion show for the Nazi's with Danny showing off all of his gowns.
