TANDI IMAN DUPREE

From the Miss Black America pageant 2001. Tandi, who I understand is deceased, actually drops from the ceiling into a split to jumpstart her performance of Bonnie Tyler's HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO. The sound is weak so pump it up.

Bunny, thanks for that! She Miss Dupree was fucking incredible! I've forwarded it on to my friends so they can see what real drag is, none of this "performance art" shit I see these days.

maybe she is deceased from internal bleeding caused by performing that sensational stunt. if "yes," it was totally worth it!

I have seen a lot of production numbers in my time, but I have never, ever seen an entrance like that--incredible! Not even the bad spotlight operator could take a thing away from this monumental show-business accomplishment. She better have won!

I like a huge round of applause upon my entrance too!

That almost left me speechless! In every possible way I could compare it to others, that was hands-down the best routine I've ever seen in my life. And her partner was fierce too!

I doubt anyone will fill her wonder woman boots but I'd LOVE to see someone in the younger generation pick up the torch.

Just wow.

Bunny,
This is most fierce.
Surely you've seen the original Tandi in her Wonder-drag talent. Here's the

I would have needed a cell phone in one hand to call 911 for my broken hips. Absolutely incredible entrance.

I love this video. I posted it on one of my blogs, as well as a link on Digg. The Associated Press also wrote about Tandi, can you imagine? Even the AP recognizes Tandi for making the entrance of all time. Peace.
