(CBS 5) BERKELEY A Berkeley watchdog organization that tracks military spending said it uncovered a strange U.S. military proposal to create a hormone bomb that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.
Pentagon officials on Friday confirmed to CBS 5 that military leaders had considered, and then subsquently rejected, building the so-called "Gay Bomb."
The bomb was to contain a performance by drag diva Lypsinka--KIDDING!

That would be one Hell of a bang!
that makes me so furious...why would the gov't think that just because they turn a bunch of terrorists gay, that they would all of a sudden wanna just drop their guns (and their pants)??? That's too ridiculous, I doubt its true.
I agree with Nathan. It's called disinformation. Puts a viral "meme" out there, making the secondary assumption of the story "true": that if gays were allowed in the military they would spend all day jumping each other's bones. Instead of every other day.
Although there is a certain logic to believing it's true...only the American military, under our current civilian leader, would commission scientific studies to do things he'd seen in cartoons...
