NOT GOOD!

Spoke to a club owner in Texas who told me that he would no longer hire anyone young to work the door. I asked why not and he said that they refused to do their job. I asked what their job is exactly and he said "Opening the door, smiling and people and saying thanks for coming on patrons way out." I asked him what they were doing instead and he said texting. Do you realize that it's tough to get a job and you lose an easy one because you're more interested in your phone? As if anyone's going to pay you to sit texting your friends? These brats need to get a clue. This isn't even a fancy club--more like a neighborhood bar--where a doorperson would pick and choose. Just smile and open a door. You have an easy job in a recession and can't stay off your phone long enough to keep it? This is a problem.
