NANCY PELOSI READS THE HOUSE DOWN!

I JUST SHE TOLD YOU! A minority House leader often steps down after an election. So when Nancy Pelosi announced her press conference yesterday, many assumed/hoped that she would hit the road. But we found out today that she'll remain in her position. One reporter asked if in doing so, she risked inhibiting the growth of young leadership. In other words, "Why don't you just beat, ya old, unpopular hag?" Her response put him right in his place but was delivered with a charming smile. “You always ask that question except to Mitch McConnell. So you’re suggesting everybody (over 70) step aside? For a moment, let’s honor it as a legitimate question, although it’s quite offensive, you don’t realize it perhaps.” She went on to explain that she'd strived for decades to elect newer and younger reps. But what I loved about this is that she basically told him. "You're a white (probably representing a mainstream--ie GOP) male. The country just let you know how backward and insignificant your views are. So how do you have the nerve to get in my face and call me old on national TV? You've bitched that I got botox, now you gripe that I'm old? Take your pick, fool! Women, like the record number of female representatives who were just elected, don't lose their validity when they age any more than men do. In fact, wisdom comes with old age and we're sick of you sexist, agist attitudes. And guess what? We've wised up to you and just sent you a clear message that we also demand equal pay and that you can't legislate our reproductive organs. Now turn the cameras on this fool to make sure that he gets NO p#ssy for the rest of his life!
