R.I.P. SAHARA DAVENPORT

I am so sorry to hear that Sahara Davenport passed away last night. I knew that she'd had health issues but thought they had improved. My condolences to her friends, family and Manila Luzon. Sahara was always one of the sweetest queens on the NYC scene and will be missed by many. Definitely by those who got a chance to work with her--she was very talented and had a great sense of humor. So long, sister!

She was also one of the few queens who could sing!




And while a sweetheart, she could read when the occasion called for it!
