JENIFER LEWIS KILLED AT 54 BELOW!

So glad I caught this last night at this gorgeous new venue! Jenifer was sensational and her pal Whoopi Goldberg was in the house to cheer her on. Marc Shaiman accompanied her on piano and his ex (with whom he wrote the music for Hairspray) Scott Wittmann directed. Hysterical and a great singer, Jenifer is truly a diva's diva. Something tells me that this short run was a workshop for a longer run. If you like a to laugh at a truly outrageous diva who will keep you in stitches and then reel it in for an occasional poignant moment, don't miss this nut!
