HEAR THE MUSIC FROM SPARKLE

The movie's coming out 8/8, but the music is available to listen to here. A great track from Cee-Lo called I'm a man, with funky drum fills and a very retro feel which several of the songs have. Lots of great harmonies and horn arrangements. Is the movie set in the 70s? A lot of the songs have the same vibe as Solange Knowles' fun hit I Decided. I really like Jordin's voice, I just hate the way she spells her name. I hope this puts her on the map--maybe she already is but I'm not too aware of her. And it's sad to hear Whitney singing her final solo release--a gospel song with all the conviction of a coke fiend who's found God. Very sad, but I look forward to seeing the movie.
