DAVID JOSEPH: YOU CAN'T HIDE

Lots of 80s sounds being mimicked in today's pop music--Gaga, Rihanna, etc. Rihanna has 2 or 3 songs off of Tainted Love alone. Or maybe her whiny voice just unintentionally evokes Marc Almond's intentional dissonance. I wonder why they never sample or mimic anything with warm, funky synths like this? You really can't go wrong with these.
