I voted for you, contributed to your campaign and even bought and wore 2 t-shirts because I wanted the candidate who came out against the Iraq war from the start to win. And now you're offering the Secretary of State job to Hillary? Wasn't that the main difference between you two--that she voted for the war? Besides, though she's a capable politician, she doesn't have much foreign policy experience. Remember how she was caught in that bold-faced lie about dodging bullets at the Kososvo airport? If she'd really had any foreign policy experience, she wouldn't have had to trump up the amount of her experience with that fib, which she rattled off 3 different versions of during her campaign. I sure hope she turns the position down, or anti-war democrats will turn on you--before you even get into the White House. How can she resolve a war she voted for?
I realize that there may be many issues which this might resolve--like getting your most powerful foe on your side so that they can't snipe at you--but when there is an ideological difference that strong, how are you gonna hire her? This stinks.

Seriously, though, he does 1 thing you disagree with, and we're going to "turn on him"? Count me out, he's got plenty of opposition already and they're not getting my help. I don't think it would be a good decision either, but he hasn't even decided yet! Cut a brother some slack.

why from the START are you so against strong womenz? i am always up on your blog and if women don't make you remember your 1809 cotillion dance you ain't got no time for them. for the past however long you've been listening to white men with a serious agenda and trying to make it seem like the Iraq war was Hillary Clinton's doing, Hillary Clinton's fault. it wasn't Hillary Clinton's fault it was the fault of white men with serious agendas, and those white men were wrong with or without support hose and cut off moo moo's.

I think Hillary should tell him "Shove it!" when he offers him Secretary of State, because technically she won the elction and is the president-elect!
Well, I'm not turning on him yet and not sure that I drank the Kool-Aid, but I do hope she turns down the position. Another odd thing is that Mark Cuban, millionaire entrepreneur, has criticized Barack's economic team by saying that there are no "starter-uppers" on board. I sure hope he can manage the economy, or the entire country will turn on him before a Hard Candy Christmas.
However, I hope that he's not offering the wrong people the wrong jobs. His campaign team was dead-on, so I find this hard to imagine. --LB
