I'm now wondering if this touching video isn't fake. Since they never shoot the elephant from a wider angle, someone could easily be holding and maneuvering the trunk. Also, some animals have self-images an recognize themselves in mirrors, etc., so it's not impossible to believe that an elephant could paint itself. But how could it tell that humans would think a flower in the trunk would be a cute finishing touch? Hmmm.
