DONNA SUMMER: BLACK POWER
Thanks to Jason for sending me this rare clip from some 1969-ish film. Donna's body looks amazing and she alsways sounds fantastic, but oddly, the Queen of Disco never really moved very well. I guess with that voice and those terrific songs, she didn't have to. But she does seem awfully bored to be singing Black Power. Wonder what this film was?

It's actually from a german mini series named "11 Uhr 20", where she played the character of "Sängerin in Bar".
Don't you just love the inter-web... :-)
"Sängerin" is actually the word for "Singer". So that was her role in that mini series "Singer in bar".
I'm sure she felt proud having her first movie role be a no name character.
Kinda sad, but her outfit is kinda cute. :-)
Sounds a little like "Goldfinger", doesn't it? blaaaaack POWER.
