Contrary to popular belief (or popular fantasy) there's almost no sex going on in the Vatican. In my four years there, I worked with men who were addicted to power and career and knew that sex wouldn't mix well with that. There was not much virtue in their celibacy, but it was organizationally practical. You never had to worry much about who was sleeping with whom. This Msgr Stenico will be driven out, and given a small town parish assignment somewhere to spend the rest of his days chasing boys through olive groves.
