PEW! THE CHICKEN DANCE

It's from Lawrence Welk--but I don't remember the production value being that low--they're "dancing" in what looks like a dungeon. And it is torture to watch, especially when they goof up the clapping rhythm.

An unsettling performance of "The Chicken Dance," performed by dancer and former Mouseketeer Bobby Burgess along with his gawky offspring. Bobby is the son-in-law of the late accordionist Myron Floren, both of whom were long-time peformers on "The Lawrence Welk Show." Myron himself introduces the "performance." This clip has all the classic, premeditated, cornball Welk staginess, minus the talent. Also, everyone has that trademark, desperately forced Welk smile. What fun!

Ah Ha - now I know where Bunny got some of those Wigstock dance numbers! Seriously, I'll blow the boy in the blue shirt - Bunny, you can have the ole bum with the accordion.

I'd blow them all! And I like that ass shaking, they remind me of Christina Aguilera, don't know why.
