The'yre clearly lipsynching, but the girls are so effervescent and it's bizarre to see the early 80's partiers in padded shouldered, permed secretary drag complete with pearls. And is that white guy really the black-sounding rapper who rhymed the classic:
"There's not a problem that I can't fix
Cuz I can do it in the mix."
He sure fooled me! And I forgot about that toilet flush sound effect!

What a "performance!" I think it is him on the record. He's on the cover, too and they sure couldn't have picked him for his looks. That's one of my all-time favorite songs -- especially the flushing toilet and the "well, alright!" that comes right after it. Genius.
Whenever I flush away the gray little knots from my porridge I always sing "last night a dj saved my life" and then tease the weedle in the hotntots, that's what!

Love this song! Love those lipsyncing girls, but bearded bass-playing white guy looks so out of place, it's hilarious..
