Bunny, I am one of the bitches that post extremely witty and clever comments here, or try to. But now I'm serious, I just saw Brokeback Mountain, now I know what all the fuss is about. If this is not the art of film I don't know what is. I can't stand celebrities, but these performances are very fine. My only thought is when two people manage to find one another and one is more courageous but the other has fear. What the hell is wrong with meeting twice a year out of your hum drum life ? so many men do this in life and it is enough. I am reminded of the line from 'Now Voyager' 'don't ask for the moon, we have the stars' for anyone who wonders what I'm saying here, see Brokeback Mountain.
It's true that it is a miracle that this movie was even made but it was thanks to its producers and director and two name BRAND stars but remember it was made during this political admin. Art will always win, truth will always win even though it SEEMS sometimes not so.
