This reminds me of the South Park episode from season 6 in which Jared from Subway commercials announces he lost weight not by eating subway subs but by getting aids (as in personal assistants) and the end of the episode the people of south park unveil a banner that declares Aids is now funny and offers the explanation that anything is funny after twenty two years passes.
