The Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United v. FEC opened the floodgates to unlimited and anonymous campaign spending in our elections, giving corporations and the richest 1% a vastly disproportionate influence in our political system.

After the Supreme Court’s disastrous decision, it was almost overnight that seedy political organizations popped up everywhere, pouring millions into our electoral system and taking advantage of every loophole on the books to shield their donations from the public eye.

Seedy organizations like Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS, which has poured millions of dollars into dishonest and untruthful attack ads targeting Obama. But we don’t know who the donors are behind those millions of dollars. That is, unless we fight back!

Right now, Progressive champion Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) is pushing Congress to pass the DISCLOSE Act, forcing secretive campaign spending to come out of the shadows.

With the Senate expected to vote on the bill on Monday, will you tell your Senators to vote for the DISCLOSE Act right now?
