Does anyone recall the lovely drag queen Naomi Sims from Texas with the biggest eyes in the business. And I forgot how stunning Beverly Johnson was. But how does Bev have the nerve to hawk a wig line with the mangiest, cheapest wig plopped on her own head.

Yes Girl~!!
Naomi was gorgeous and so talented..
She won that Female Impersonator of the year pageant that was mc'ed by Ruth Buzzi and Lyle Wagoner..
The Also GORGEOUS Michael Andrews was 1st runner up..May they both rest in peace.

I just compiled a big drag mash-up video for an event. I gathered tons of tape, and was pleasantly surprised to watch a lot of Naomi Simms footage. I frequently saw her during the 80's. She was an amazing entertainer and talk about a radical drag transformation!
