Well, Joan's right about one thing...you shouldn't diss another actress if you don't know them personally. But I'll bet that 1.) they took this out of context (i.e., they "asked" Charlotte what she thought, then Charlotte repeated what other people had said, and they edited her comments); and 2.) Joan IS a bitch. Not that it's a bad thing. All those other roles she played ("nuns and mission'ry wuhkuhs") all had the same patina of cattiness...fun to watch, though!
She certainly doesn't seem any crazier than she did as wacky Mrs. Garrett...she's also a lot more spry than I'd expected. I was worried that she'd gone all feeble and shit!
Now, the inevitable showdown must happen..."Mrs. Garrett vs. Alexis: Who Will End Up In The Pool?" :-)
I think Joan just proved that she is indeed a Bitch! with her reaction. I mean, someone you don't even know is dissing you and obviously has some behind the curtains insight and you are not startled where does that come from? If Joan were worth one breast implant, she would have asked the eager presenter to see the question they asked Charlotte. Especially when Charlotte is attending Joan's play (hint, hint) and in a while talks about how she's looking forward to seeing Joan -- the Bitch, act and thinks that it would be lovely.
I'll conclude with a fitting (haha, I do think so) quote: "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything." Not all of course, but a lot of them.
